I Love You, Lord
From the Distributor’s Page
In this ring & sing setting by arranger Arnold Sherman, the beauty and simplicity of Laurie Klein's ever-popular praise song is perfectly captured as he combines it with the classic hymn My Jesus, I Love Thee.
With this anthem we complete our 2023-24 season. We’ll be back around the beginning of September, give or take. Additional anthems had been planned for May but we ran out of rehearsal time!
The sound turned out well. I can hear the altos, clearly! We had some nice moving parts in this one, too. It was fun watching the bell players — they would sometimes rearrange themselves between pieces. I’m not sure what that is all about, but they can move quickly. One of them also plays the tuba, and he had farther to go.
Well, that’s it for now. I expect to resume posting in this section when the choir resumes singing.
